WBHS beneficiaries told to surrender other health cards

A finance department notification stated that the cards must be surrendered and a declaration submitted in the prescribed format attached to the notification by Oct 31, 2026.Kolkata: State govt on Friday directed employees and pensioners, including All India Service (AIS) officers, who are enrolled under West Bengal Health Scheme (WBHS) but hold Swasthya Sathi and/or Ayushman Bharat cards for themselves or their family members to surrender the cards.A finance department notification stated that the cards must be surrendered and a declaration submitted in the prescribed format attached to the notification by Oct 31, 2026.The notification warned that failure to comply within the deadline would invite strict administrative action.
