REVEALED: What Wicknell Chivayo’s Brother Promised His Children During His Emotional Burial

Details have emerged on what Wicknell Chivayo’s brother, GSIX, promised his children during his emotional burial at Glenforest Memorial Park in Harare.

GSIX assured mourners that Wicknell’s children would remain safe, supported and properly cared for following their father’s death. He said the late businessman had made plans to secure their future through family trusts, companies and properties.

Speaking at the graveside ceremony, GSIX, also known as G6, said Wicknell had a deep love for his children and had taken deliberate steps to ensure they would have a secure future.

He explained that the arrangements Wicknell left behind would help safeguard the children’s interests and preserve the wealth their father had accumulated. Family sources said the plans include trusts, business entities and properties reserved for the children.

GSIX further stressed that Wicknell’s legacy belonged to his children. He pledged that the family would safeguard what the businessman had built and ensure that his children continued to benefit from it.

His remarks came during a sombre funeral attended by hundreds of relatives, friends and other mourners who gathered to honour Wicknell and his wife, Lucy.Earlier, Wicknell’s sister had spoken about his strong attachment to his children. She recalled that her brother had urged the family to always protect them and ensure they were properly looked after.

GSIX’s message appeared to reassure those present that the family would respect Wicknell’s wishes and continue supporting his children.

Throughout the mourning period, Wicknell’s brothers and other relatives played an active role in the funeral arrangements and received mourners who came to offer their condolences.
