Nana Akua Addo’s Husband Harold Reveals His Side As Domestic Abuse Case Deepens
A new video involving Harold Norman, the husband of Ghanaian actress and fashion personality Nana Akua Addo, has attracted attention online after he reportedly demonstrated how he claims he was assaulted during a domestic dispute, alleging that he lost a tooth in the incident.
The footage comes amid growing public interest in allegations of domestic abuse involving the couple, with videos showing injuries on both sides circulating on social media.
Earlier footage reportedly showed Norman displaying scratches, bite marks and blood on parts of his body, as well as damaged clothing. In the recordings, he alleged that his wife had attacked him. The claims have not been independently established, and the circulating videos do not provide a complete account of what happened.
The developments followed the circulation of separate videos showing Nana Akua Addo with visible facial injuries. The circumstances surrounding those injuries have become the subject of competing accounts.
Norman’s lawyers have disputed claims that he assaulted his wife, arguing that the footage being shared online does not accurately represent the events. The legal team has also made counter-allegations about previous incidents in the relationship. Those claims remain allegations and should not be treated as established facts.
The Ghana Police Service has confirmed that the matter is under investigation. According to the Criminal Investigations Department, Nana Akua Addo petitioned the police on August 20, 2026, alleging physical, emotional and economic abuse.
Police said Norman was arrested on August 27 to assist with investigations and was granted police enquiry bail with two sureties on August 29. He was expected to appear before a court on October 7, but investigators were informed by his lawyer that he had been admitted to hospital. Police said officers had visited the hospital to verify the information and were monitoring the situation ahead of his arraignment after discharge.
Nana Akua Addo’s representatives have also asked media organisations and social media users to stop circulating the videos, particularly footage involving the couple’s children, citing concerns about their privacy and wellbeing.
With allegations and counter-allegations now in the public domain, the police investigation and legal process remain central to establishing the facts. Neither the latest video nor the claims made by either party should be treated as a final determination of responsibility.
