Kumawood actor Oteele has been begging his wife to come back home, but her answer is finally out – and it is not what he wanted to hear.

Gifty Nana Afriyie, Oteele’s wife, has reportedly responded to the actor’s repeated public pleas for forgiveness. She says she has forgiven him, but she does not want the marriage again.

In a message sent to the actor, Gifty told him to accept their separation and be strong.

She also told Oteele to take care of their children himself, a sign that she has made up her mind.

Oteele, whose real name is Stephen Yaw Mawunyo, went viral after an alleged private video of him with another woman leaked online. The video caused massive pressure on his family.

His wife first came out in a tearful TikTok video to deny she was the woman in the video and apologized to Ghanaians on behalf of her family.

Oteele later broke his silence. He admitted he had failed his family and said he wanted to seek forgiveness from his wife with the help of elders. He even said he went almost a whole day without eating because of the shame.

He has been publicly begging Gifty to give their marriage another chance.

“To forgive is human; I have forgiven you,” she said in her message that is now trending.

She made it clear that forgiveness does not mean reunion. She asked him to accept that they are separated and to focus on taking care of the children.

For many Ghanaians online, her message is powerful. It shows a woman who has chosen peace over pressure, even after 13 years of marriage filled with reports of infidelity.

Oteele is yet to respond to his wife’s latest message, but it looks like this chapter of their marriage is closed for good.
