Hurricane Isaias forces numerous college football games to have changes, including a cancellation
Hurricane Isaias has moved to a Category 3 storm, as it is set to make landfall in the Florida Gulf Coast.
Because of the storm, numerous college football games set to be played on Saturday were forced to be rescheduled, and one will no longer be played at all.
In all, seven games were altered β eight if you want to include the highlyβtouted Alabama-Georgia matchup, in which ESPN’s “College GameDay” is moving indoors.

Here are the seven games β as of now β altered because of the storm.
West Florida, which plays its home games in Pensacola, opted to cancel its game, and it is not expected to be made up in the future.
This remains, as of publishing the lone FBS game to be rescheduled. Originally set to start at 4 p.m. ET, it was moved up three hours.
Florida A&M at Alabama State
Originally slated for Saturday at noon, the game was actually moved up 24 hours to beat the hurricane.

HURRICANE ISAIAS THREATENS GEORGIA VS. ALABAMA SEC SHOWDOWN AS TRUMP PLANS TUSCALOOSA VISIT
This game, played just west of Houston, is actually being moved back one hour, from 3 p.m. ET to 4 p.m. ET.
These teams were originally slated to kick off at 5:30 p.m. ET, but they will now take the field at noon in an effort to beat the storm, which is expected to turn toward the Carolinas after landfall.
The Charleston, S.C. game was moved up two hours and will kick off at noon ET.
South Carolina State at Charleston Southern
The schools were supposed to play under the lights but will also play at noon ET.

The storm is expected to make landfall near the panhandle on Friday evening.
