Grandma Shakes in Disbelief as All Three of Her Kids Announce Twins
Three siblings captured the moment they each announced they were expecting twins – leaving their mom thinking she was being pranked before shaking in disbelief.
The t-windfall started in 2023 when Kaylie Serpa, 37, from Folsom, California, discovered she was expecting fraternal twin boys, with Xander and River born in 2024.
Then, in 2025, the family was stunned again when Kaylie’s younger sister Mackenzie welcomed identical twin girls Madden and Kolbie in July.
And just a year later, in 2026, their brother Cody, and his wife McKenna, learned they too were expecting twin girls with the birth due on December 23.
Each time, the siblings announced the news to their parents, Stacey and Steve Niemann, capturing their hilariously adorable reactions on camera.
Kaylie said their aunt had twin boys, and, in the family, there have been eight sets of twin boys before she welcomed her sons.
Ahead of Kaylie’s pregnancy, the prospect of twins was never mentioned – but it was certainly joked about when Mackenzie became pregnant.
At that point, the jokes about possibly three sets of twins amongst the siblings had only ramped up – and when Cody was late calling after his and McKenna’s ultrasound, the family knew something was up.
Kaylie said: “I think it’s going to be really cool – there’s just not a lot of twins out there, and for them to have twin cousins now, to have three in the same family, it’s going to be wild.
“Being a twin mom has so many unique things about it as far as not only the struggles, but also the beautiful things about it.
“It’s really a tight community right now and it’s really special that I get to experience that with my siblings.
“I really leaned on other twin moms that I knew to help me through it and talk me through things and just to validate my feelings that I was going through.
“The fact I get to now be there for my siblings when they’re going through the same things that I was, I think that that’s really special and really important too.
“I’m really excited about holidays and matching jammies and cousin sleepovers. “It’s going to be really fun, especially when they get a little bit older.”
