Global Deliveries Of Porsche Fell By 16 Percent In The First Nine Months
Porsche’s global car deliveries fell 16 percent in the first nine months of 2026, the biggest reason for that being a sharp drop in sales in China, the German luxury carmaker said on Friday.
The company delivered 178,532 vehicles from January to September, compared to 212,509 in the same period last year, reports Anadolu Agency.
Deliveries in China fell 33 percent to 21,493 vehicles, the biggest drop among all regions. North America remained the company’s largest market, with 56,088 vehicles delivered, or 13 percent less than a year earlier.
In Germany, 20,954 vehicles were delivered, seven percent less, while in the rest of Europe, a drop of 11 percent was recorded, to 44,949 cars. Porsche assessed that market conditions are challenging and stated that it prioritizes long-term brand development over short-term sales goals. The drop in deliveries was mainly attributed to the end of production of the 718 model and the large number of deliveries of the electric Macan in the same period last year.
Among the models, the Cayenne remained the best-seller, with 59,586 vehicles delivered, two percent less than the year before. Macan followed with 51,025 vehicles, which is a drop of 21 percent, and the sports model 911, whose deliveries increased by 12 percent, to 42,217 cars. The company attributes the growth of the 911 to strong demand for exclusive high-performance versions.
