Fort Hood shooting survivors, victims’ families grapple with Nidal Hasan’s Dec. 3 execution

In December, many of the survivors and families of victims in the Fort Hood mass shooting will return to where their lives changed 17 years ago. This time, they will witness the execution of the man responsible.Former Army Maj. Nidal Hasan will be the first person executed by the military since 1961.
