Ebola protocols observed as Ruto chairs Cabinet meeting

President Ruto opened the Cabinet meeting with a prayer /PCSCabinet members observed enhanced health protocols, including sanitising their hands at the entrance, in response to the Ebola outbreak concern.

Kenya’s first confirmed case involved a Kenyan who had travelled from the Democratic Republic of the Congo on October 3.

The patient died two days later while receiving treatment, after tests confirmed infection with the Bundibugyo strain of the Ebola virus.
