Drama at Ugandan singer’s traditional introduction ceremony as another woman claims he promised her marriage

A woman turned up at the traditional introduction ceremony of a Ugandan singer, claiming he had promised to marry her.

The incident unfolded at the Kukyala ceremony of the groom identified as Yaled, and his fiancée Grace, an event meant to mark the couple’s formal introduction ahead of their union.

The yet-to-be-identified lady insisted that the groom had made her a promise of marriage, only to find him marrying another woman. 

A video shared by a blogger Matt Tee captured the celebration, which was held indoors, decorated with floral arrangements bearing the pair’s names before it descended into chaos.

The identity of the woman who arrived with her claims remains unknown. 

It is also unclear how the ceremony concluded following the confrontation.
