Powered by a 1,083cc V-twin, the motorcycle will be limited to just 300 examples. The motorcycle marks the next chapter in a partnership that produced the track-focused AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro motorcycles.

The AMB 002 Roadster, however, is built to be ridden on public roads. Its unusual yet striking front end gives the motorcycle an almost futuristic, alien-like appearance. Considering its limited production run, the Roadster could quickly become a highly desirable collector’s motorcycle. However, buyers will have to wait, as deliveries are not expected to begin until the third quarter of 2027.

Aston Martin has added its own distinctive touches to the motorcycle’s design. The signature side-strake has been adapted for the bike, running through the fairing toward the headlight, while the twin oval exhausts feature ribbed heat-dissipating sections inspired by the exhaust designs of notable models in the marque’s history, such as the Vanquish, DB12 S, and DBX S.

At the rear, the idea of multiple slim light blades has been drawn from the Vulcan, Valkyrie, and Valhalla. The AMB 002 Roadster also gets premium touches straight from the craftsmanship of Aston Martin’s road cars, including keyless access, an illuminated ignition button, and hand-finished leather seat pads.

As you would expect from any performance brand, weight reduction was a major engineering priority, helping keep the motorcycle’s weight at 419 pounds. Aston Martin achieved an even 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution on the AMB 002 Roadster, made possible by an 11-pound titanium chassis developed entirely for road use. Notably, no major components were carried over from another model.

The Aston Martin motorcycle also received an exotic suspension arrangement rarely seen on production road bikes, courtesy of the unusual double-wishbone Fior fork instead of a conventional telescopic setup. That handling and lightness are matched by a powerful, bespoke 1,083cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine developed specifically for the AMB 002 Roadster.

Rather than modifying an existing Brough Superior engine, engineers designed the unit from the ground up, and it delivers 130 horsepower and 81 lb-ft of torque. The AMB 002 Roadster boasts a serious power-to-weight advantage and could be on par with some of the quickest street motorcycles. With that kind of performance, the Dark Knight might just trade the Batpod for one.
