Reasons REVEALED Why Tycoon Chivayo’s casket was marked with the MWC 777 number

The casket of late Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo was seen covered with the Zimbabwean national flag as preparations for his burial continued.

Images shared online showed the casket carrying the colours of the country Chivayo called home. The display formed part of the arrangements as family members and mourners prepared to give the businessman his final farewell.

Chivayo died on September 30 after the helicopter he was travelling in crashed at Kudenga Farm near Marondera in Zimbabwe.

His wife Lucy Muteke also died in the accident alongside other occupants of the aircraft. The crash resulted in a fire that severely damaged the helicopter and complicated the recovery and identification of the victims.

The family previously announced that there would be no viewing of the bodies before burial because of the condition of the remains.

Chivayo was a prominent businessman whose public lifestyle and charitable activities frequently attracted attention in Zimbabwe. His death has since generated widespread interest, with mourners sharing tributes and memories of his life.

The decision to drape his casket in the national flag has also drawn attention from people following the funeral proceedings.

Photos of the casket have continued to circulate online as relatives and friends prepare to lay Chivayo to rest.
