Police: Sayre woman charged after false 911 reports of injured man

SAYRE BOROUGH — A 43-year-old Sayre woman was charged Tuesday after police said she made a couple false 911 reports about a man “bleeding out” and tied up emergency resources.Jennifer L. Vermeil was charged by Sayre Borough Police Officer Carter Pries with one count each of communications with 911 other than an emergency and false reports, both misdemeanors.
