PML-N workers protest against unrest, mismanagement in KP govt’s political activities

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers took to the streets in Batkhela, Malakand to protest against unrest, alleged mismanagement and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s political activities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The protesters set tires on fire and blocked the main Swat-Peshawar highway to traffic, disrupting the movement of vehicles and bringing traffic to a standstill.

PML-N Malakand District President Sajjad Ahmed Khan, along with Ali Muhammad Khan, Arshad Ali Khan, and other party leaders, addressed the protesters.

The speakers expressed concern over the law-and-order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying terrorism has left people feeling insecure while various provincial institutions are also facing difficulties.

They said the health, education, and local government sectors were facing problems, while the provincial government was focusing on political activities and long marches instead of addressing public issues.

The PML-N leaders said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were suffering loss of life and property due to terrorism and questioned the provincial government’s priorities amid the ongoing hardships.

They demanded that the provincial government prioritize law and order, education, healthcare, and the resolution of public issues over political activities.

The speakers also questioned the government’s counter-terrorism policies and called for practical and effective measures to ensure lasting peace in the province. During the protest, PML-N workers chanted slogans against the provincial government.
