Philipsburg man sentenced for fleeing from state troopers
CLEARFIELD — Alex Michael Wojtowich, 35, of Philipsburg, who led state police on a high-speed chase, was sentenced to prison by President Judge Paul E. Cherry Monday at Colloquy Court.Wojtowich pleaded guilty to fleeing/elude officer — a felony of the second degree; driving under the influence — an ungraded misdemeanor; and the summary offenses of driving on roadways laned for traffic and driving with a suspended license, and would receive a minimum of five months in prison, according to Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Lose-Morgan.
