MWANZA: REGIONAL Commissioner Salum Hamduni has inspected the implementation of government directives regarding river infrastructure, particularly as the rainy season approaches.During the inspection today, October 8, 2026, the Regional Commissioner noted that sanitation levels remain unsatisfactory in some areas; specifically, the Mirongo River is clogged with refuse and silt, a situation that could impede water flow during the rains.
