CM Nayab Saini Meets Punjab, Haryana Diaspora Entrepreneurs in Singapore

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday met industrialists and business representatives of Punjab and Haryana origin during his visit to Singapore and invited them to explore investment opportunities in the state.

Addressing the diaspora entrepreneurs, Saini appreciated their contribution to India’s standing abroad, saying their hard work, talent and entrepreneurial spirit have enhanced the country’s pride.

He said the global experience and expertise acquired by the Indian diaspora could contribute significantly to India’s development and urged the entrepreneurs to become partners in Haryana’s growth journey.

Drawing a comparison with Singapore, the Chief Minister said the city-state had emerged as one of the world’s leading business and economic centres despite its limited geographical area and resources. He attributed its success to visionary economic policies, robust infrastructure, good governance and effective law and order.

Saini said Haryana was also working continuously to provide investors with modern infrastructure, better law and order, good governance and a conducive environment for industrial growth.

He said India had achieved new milestones of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was progressing towards the goal of a developed India. According to Saini, Central government policies have opened up new opportunities in investment, infrastructure, employment and entrepreneurship.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the construction of the Kartarpur Corridor, describing it as an important achievement that fulfilled a long-standing aspiration of devotees.

He said the Haryana government had taken steps in the interest of families affected by the anti-Sikh riots by providing government jobs.

Saini said Haryana had established itself as one of India’s leading industrial and investment hubs, citing its strategic geographical location, strong road and rail connectivity, skilled workforce, industrial infrastructure and investor-friendly policies as key advantages.
