Chivayo’s Younger Brother Arrives At Funeral With Flashy Rolls-Royce Cullinan

GSIX, popularly known as G6, made a striking arrival at the Chivayo family mansion in Harare as relatives, friends and mourners continued gathering to pay their final respects to Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

G6 arrived shortly before a candlelight vigil in an electric-blue Rolls-Royce Cullinan, fitted with his distinctive yellow custom number plate bearing the inscription “MANUMBER,” immediately drawing attention from mourners and visitors gathered at the family residence.

The luxury SUV, reportedly worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, stood prominently on the paved driveway as the family prepared for another evening of remembrance. A white Rolls-Royce was also visible inside the mansion’s garage.

However, the flashy vehicle appeared to be only a small part of the attention surrounding G6’s arrival. Those familiar with events at the mansion said his role during the mourning period had been more significant.

Reports indicate that G6 has remained at the family home since the first day of mourning, quietly helping relatives manage arrangements and receiving visitors who have travelled to offer condolences following Wicknell’s death.

While many mourners have expressed their grief online, G6 has reportedly been involved directly in the preparations. He has welcomed visitors at the gate and helped guide mourners through the family home.

He has also reportedly spent time with senior family members while coordinating logistics with service providers involved in the funeral arrangements. His steady presence has made him one of the people helping keep activities at the mansion organised.

A mourner who visited the residence praised G6 for remaining composed throughout the difficult period. The mourner described his quiet dedication as more meaningful than public displays of grief during the family’s painful moment.

G6’s appearance in the dark suit, black shirt and designer sunglasses contrasted with the attention drawn by his luxury vehicle. His demeanour, however, remained subdued as he continued carrying out responsibilities within the family compound.

The Chivayo family mansion has remained a centre of mourning as Wicknell’s remains lie in state, allowing relatives, friends, business associates and other dignitaries to pay their final respects before his burial.

The period has attracted significant public attention, partly because of Wicknell’s high-profile lifestyle and business dealings. His family members have nevertheless continued with private funeral preparations while welcoming mourners who have travelled to the residence.

For G6, his presence at the mansion has offered a glimpse into the responsibilities shouldered by close family members behind the scenes. Away from the cameras, he has reportedly focused on supporting relatives and managing daily arrangements.

His Rolls-Royce may have captured attention when he arrived, but those at the mansion said his consistent presence throughout the mourning period offered a more important reflection of his role within the grieving Chivayo family.
