BJP booth prez ‘killed’ in Uluberia

Howrah : A BJP booth president died on Thursday after being allegedly attacked with sharp weapons by Trinamool backed assailants in Chandipur under Uluberia Police Station limits. Police said 48-year-old Bijoy Bag died around 2pm at SSKM Hospital. His family alleged that local Trinamool neta Dipantar Samanta called Bag out of his home around midnight on Wednesday on the pretext of speaking to him.
