45-year-old loses ₹10L to RTO challan scam

Pune: A 45-year-old private company official from Bhosari lost Rs 10 lakh to a fake RTO challan. According to the Bhosari MIDC police, who registered a case on Wednesday, the complainant received a message from an unknown number on Oct 2, purportedly from RTO. The message said there was a pending traffic challan in his name.
