27-Year-Old Wife Reveals Shòcking Rules Husband Has Imposed on Her After Just One Year of Marriage

A 27-year-old woman has opened up about the challenges she says she faces in her one-year marriage to a 42-year-old man, describing a relationship where financial security has come with strict restrictions on her independence.

In an anonymous account, the woman said her husband provides for her needs and has ensured she does not struggle financially. However, she claims he has also imposed rules that have left her feeling isolated and increasingly dependent on him.

According to the woman, her husband has refused to allow her to look for a job, insisting that providing for the family is his responsibility. She also claimed that she has not been allowed to visit her family since the beginning of the year.

She said her husband expects her to remain in regular communication with him whenever he is at work. If she fails to call, she claimed, he quickly contacts her to ask whether she has forgotten or abandoned him.

The situation became more concerning for her after she told her husband that she had learned how to drive and wanted to find employment. She said her goal was to save enough money to buy her own car within a few months.

Instead of supporting the plan, she claimed her husband promised to buy her a car before December. However, she said he later refused when she asked to accompany a female friend somewhere for about an hour.

According to the woman, her husband told her the following morning to ask the friend to find her own husband to accompany her instead.

The repeated restrictions have left the woman questioning whether financial provision should come at the expense of personal freedom in marriage.

She has since sought advice from others, asking how she should handle the situation and whether her husband’s behaviour is simply part of his approach to marriage or an indication of excessive control.
