TCD unveils its new leadership with a call to promote peaceful, lawful political dialogues

DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA Centre for Democracy (TCD) Chairperson, Dorothy Semu, has said the institution will continue to support platforms that promote dialogue, tolerance, inclusiveness, respect for political differences and the peaceful and lawful resolution of conflicts.Semu made the remarks in Dar es Salaam on October 7, 2026, during the launch of the new leadership and logo of the Council of Political Parties, stressing the importance of building democracy through the participation of citizens, political parties, the government, civil society organisations, the media and other national institutions.
