Bollywood couple shares happy news with fans, over a year after welcoming first daughter

Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are set to become parents for the second time. The couple announced the pregnancy on Instagram, sharing their excitement as they prepare to expand their family.

The announcement has prompted an outpouring of love and congratulatory messages from fans and members of the film fraternity.

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani shared the same post on their respective Instagram accounts, revealing that they are expecting their second child.

The couple captioned the announcement, “Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude.” The post was accompanied by a picture marking another major milestone in their journey together.

While the actors have publicly celebrated the news, they have not disclosed any further details about the pregnancy or the expected arrival of their second child.

Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot in a dreamy and intimate wedding ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer in February 2023, following several years of dating.

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in July 2025. They later revealed that their daughter is named Saraayah Malhotra.

The actors have largely kept their family life away from the spotlight since becoming parents, occasionally offering fans glimpses into their journey while maintaining a strong sense of privacy.

Kiara had previously spoken about the couple’s desire to keep their personal lives private. In a 2023 interview with Femina, she explained that protecting their relationship had been important even before their marriage.

“Before we were married, it was an issue because we wanted to protect our relationship,” Kiara said, adding that both she and Sidharth are self-made actors who had earned their respective positions in the film industry through their own hard work.

She explained that they had worked hard to establish their careers and did not want that achievement to be overshadowed by excessive attention on their personal lives.

The announcement of their second pregnancy comes a little over a year after the birth of their daughter, marking a new chapter for the Bollywood couple.
