13 terrorists killed in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, 5 eliminated in Mastung

Security forces have intensified operations against terrorist elements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, killing 18 terrorists in separate actions. The operations targeted terrorist hideouts and movement in North Waziristan and Mastung.

The latest actions reflect the security forces’ continued efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and prevent attacks across the country.

Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the area. During the operation, security forces targeted terrorist hideouts in North Waziristan and surrounding areas, killing 13 terrorists.

Security forces are continuing to closely monitor terrorist movements and are taking decisive action against their presence. The forces have reiterated their commitment to completely eradicate terrorism and establish lasting peace.

Security forces also conducted a successful operation in Mastung, Balochistan, against terrorist elements under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. The operation resulted in the killing of five terrorists.

A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists in Siyapusht and Killi Gashtari. Security forces are conducting ongoing clearance and search operations in the area to identify and eliminate any remaining potential terrorists.

President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operations against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

The president commended the bravery and professional competence of the security forces in eliminating terrorists, describing their decisive actions as a reflection of the nation’s resolve and morale.

President Zardari said the successful operations clearly demonstrate the state’s firm resolve against terrorist elements. He added that conspiracies by the foreign patrons of terrorists and their local facilitators would be thwarted.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also praised the security forces for their successful operations against terrorists in Mastung and North Waziristan.

Naqvi lauded the professional competence of the security forces in eliminating 18 Indian-sponsored terrorists and paid tribute to the personnel who carried out the operations.

He said he was proud of the brave sons of the security forces who had thwarted the nefarious designs of terrorists. He said the operations reflect the security forces’ commitment to safeguarding national security and paid tribute to the brave sons of the homeland.

Naqvi said the nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the security forces in the war against terrorism.

He further said operations against Fitna-al-Hindustan and Fitna-al-Khawarij are being carried out with full force and will continue until terrorist elements are eliminated.
