Independents in fray may invite trouble for candidates of major parties

Kolhapur: At least 56 independents for graduates’ constituency and 39 for teachers’ constituency have filed their nominations for Pune division MLC seats. If not convinced to withdraw these candidates stir up trouble for candidates of major political parties by dividing the vote share. Meanwhile, BJP and Shiv Sena still have not reached a decision on whether to withdraw nomination or have a friendly fight for the teachers’ constituency.
