Health authorities warn of FIRs after dengue larvae detection
Faisalabad district administration has directed the Health and Population Department to register FIRs against people responsible for sites where dengue larvae are found.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the administration issued the instructions as part of measures to control the spread of dengue in Faisalabad.
The Health and Population Department said cases would be registered when dengue larvae were detected at outdoor locations.
The department will take legal action against the relevant people after larvae are recovered.
Officials said dengue larvae had been found and destroyed at around 35,000 locations across Faisalabad during the current year.
The Health and Population Department has also urged citizens to remain careful and follow standard operating procedures aimed at preventing dengue.
Residents have been advised to take preventive measures and ensure that conditions that allow mosquitoes to breed are not allowed to develop around their homes and other outdoor areas.
The latest instructions are part of the district administration’s efforts to strengthen dengue prevention measures and ensure greater compliance with public health guidelines.
