Ghana needs South Africa’s support to join BRICS – Analyst

An International Relations Analyst, Dr Nana Yaw Mireku, has said Ghana will need the support of existing BRICS members, including South Africa, to secure admission into the grouping.His comments follow the announcement by Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa that Ghana will formally apply to join BRICS as part of efforts to diversify the country’s international partnerships and expand economic opportunities.
