El-Rufai In Lagos Told Ambode He’ll Teach Him How To Deal With Godfather; That’s His Offence—Galadima

Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the NDC, has stated that he believes former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai is being politically witch-hunted by the Tinubu government

In an interview with Arise TV, Galadima said El-Rufai’s main offence was going to Lagos and telling former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode that he would teach him how to deal with political godfathers. He stated that this is why El-Rufai is being persecuted

Galadima said he believes in justice and would not support anyone being treated unfairly, even if that person is his enemy. He said many people have committed offences similar to those El-Rufai is accused of committing and are still free.

Galadima stated that none of the offences El-Rufai is accused of committing should warrant keeping him in detention without bail. He said El-Rufai did not kill anyone and also worked hard for Tinubu to emerge as president

In Galadima’s words: “Because El-Rufai went to Lagos and told Ambode that he will teach him how to deal with godfathers, for me that is his major offence”
