College withholds security money over lost receipt, MBBS student wins Rs 2.40 lakh

A man who took admission in a private medical college and deposited refundable security money was later shifted to another college after the institute was closed for administrative reasons.A Rohtak consumer commission ordered a private medical college to pay Rs 2.40 lakh to a former MBBS student after it withheld his refundable security and library deposits because he could not produce the original receipt.
