BREAKING NEWS | Former president Zuma reportedly admitted to KZN hospital

Former president Jacob Zuma was reportedly admitted to a KZN hospital late on Tuesday night after apparently taking ill earlier in the day.

An eyewitness at the hospital told The Witness that Zuma arrived by ambulance and was admitted.

His admission has not yet been officially confirmed by his family or the uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party), and the nature of his reported illness is not known.

The Witness has approached the MK Party and Zuma’s family for confirmation and comment.

JG Zuma Foundation spokesperson Mzwanele Manyi declined to comment on former president Jacob Zuma’s visit to the hospital.

β€œIt could be that he is visiting a relative who is admitted in hospital. Former presidents do visit hospitals all the time. Why is it that when it’s former president Zuma it becomes a big story? This is an invasion of his privacy,” he said.

Multiple reliable sources have confirmed that Zuma remains in hospital.
