Trinidad law student Hailey Pysadee crowned Miss India Worldwide 2026

Nineteen-year-old law student Hailey Pysadee of Trinidad and Tobago has been crowned Miss India Worldwide 2026 at the 33rd edition of the international pageant for women of Indian origin.

Pysadee, who represented the host country, received the crown from Neelam Saran, co-chairperson of Worldwide Pageants, at the event held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Trinidad and Tobago.

The pageant brought together contestants of Indian origin from several countries and is described by its organisers as the longest-running Indian pageant held outside India.

Two other major titles were also presented during the event. Dr Sridevi Manginani, representing the United States, won the Mrs India Worldwide 2026 title, while Luna Jairam of the Netherlands was crowned Miss Teen India Worldwide 2026.

Pysadee is pursuing a law degree and represented Trinidad and Tobago in the competition. Photographs from the event showed her wearing the Miss India Worldwide crown and sash alongside the other title winners.

The pageant was organised by Indian-American couple Neelam and Dharmatma Saran through Worldwide Pageants, in association with Neha Karina Meena and Umesh Meena, the organisation’s national directors for Trinidad and Tobago.

Now in its 33rd year, the pageant has evolved into an international platform bringing together women of Indian origin from different countries and generations of the global Indian diaspora.

Held at NAPA, the event also placed emphasis on Indian culture and traditions, performing arts and values, going beyond the conventional format of a beauty competition.

The three principal winners represented Trinidad and Tobago, the United States and the Netherlands, highlighting the diverse geographic presence of the Indian diaspora.
