Three men indicted in alleged Dent County meth distribution case
Three men accused of participating in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy in Dent County, Missouri, were arrested Monday on federal charges.
William Wind, 59, Thomas Wind, 60, and David Gray, 58, were indicted Sept. 16, 2026, in U.S. District Court in St. Louis. Each is charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The indictment alleges the drug conspiracy operated from Jan. 1, 2025, through at least February 2026.
Each defendant also faces one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Thomas Wind is additionally charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Federal prosecutors are also seeking the forfeiture of three pistols and five rifles seized during the investigation.
The charges contained in the indictment are accusations and do not constitute evidence of guilt. Each defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
The FBI assisted with the case, along with the Rolla Area Drug Enforcement Task Force, known as RADE. The task force includes officers from the Rolla Police Department, Dent County Sheriff’s Office, and Phelps County Sheriff’s Office.
The Salem Police Department, Licking Police Department, Texas County Sheriff’s Department, and Missouri’s Operation Relentless Pursuit also assisted. Operation Relentless Pursuit is a coordinated, intelligence-led law enforcement initiative focused on locating and apprehending fugitives.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Mohsen Pasha is prosecuting the case.
