Fatah-4 test marks advance in Pakistan’s defence, technological capabilities
Pakistan has successfully conducted a test of its indigenously developed Fatah-4 cruise missile.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Fatah-4 cruise missile is equipped with advanced avionics and navigation systems and is capable of striking targets at long range with high accuracy and effectiveness, according to the ISPR.
During the test, additional technical parameters of various sub-systems were also verified to improve the missile’s accuracy and survivability, the military’s media wing said. The successful test of the Fatah-4 marks an important advance in Pakistan’s defence and technological capabilities, the ISPR added.
The senior Pakistan Army officers, scientists and engineers witnessed the test.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the service chiefs congratulated the team on the successful test and praised the technical expertise, dedication and resolve of the scientists, engineers and other officials involved.
