Ohio ‘House of Horrors’ grandmother Christina Siders could have dementia, lawyer says as questions loom over competency to stand trial

The grandmother charged in Ohio’s “House of Horrors” case is facing 19 counts of child endangerment. But before Christina Siders can stand trial, a judge has to determine whether she’s mentally competent to face the charges.The 68-year-old’s attorney is asking the court to authorize $7,000 for additional testing after a doctor who conducted a competency evaluation found that Christina has several risk factors for dementia, according to a new report.
