According to Lahore Traffic Police, patrolling officers Ghulam Arabi and Tanveer checked the motorcycle’s e-challan record and found a total of 113 outstanding violations.

The motorcyclist had been cited 89 times for riding without a helmet and 24 times for violating traffic signals. The motorcyclist was fined Rs190,000, while the motorcycle was impounded and shifted to Factory Area Police Station.

Traffic police said the crackdown against individuals with outstanding e-challans and digital challans will continue as part of efforts to ensure better traffic management.

Lahore Traffic Police has also sent letters to government departments regarding employees with outstanding e-challans, asking them to clear the pending fines.

In Lahore, e-challans are being issued with the help of ANPR cameras for more than 20 types of traffic violations.

Traffic authorities have urged citizens to follow traffic laws to avoid e-challans.

According to the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, an indiscriminate crackdown is also underway against individuals tampering with vehicle number plates.

Citizens should first visit the official PSCA e-challan portal and enter the required details to find the relevant challan.

After opening the challan, they can review its details and, if they believe it was issued incorrectly, select the “Review” option.

Applicants must then provide the required information and submit their review request online, following the instructions on the portal.

The relevant authorities will examine the complaint and the disputed challan. Once the review process is completed, the applicant will be informed of the decision.

People who face difficulties using the online system can contact the Lahore Traffic Police helpline on 0322–5638888 for assistance.

The online service is intended to make it easier for citizens to dispute incorrect or contested e-challans from home and reduce unnecessary visits to traffic police offices.
