Culture and talent shine at KCA varsity cultural night

KCA University celebrated culture, creativity and student talent during its Cultural Night held on October 2 at the university grounds.
The event, themed “Rooted in Heritage, Culture in the Digital Age,” brought together students, faculty and guests for an evening showcasing music, dance, fashion and other cultural expressions.
Kenya Cultural Centre CEO Michael Pundo described cultural platforms as important in nurturing and empowering young talent.

He said partnerships with institutions such as KCA University provide students with opportunities to develop and showcase their abilities, adding, “Usilalie talanta, talent is money.”
Pundo also awarded prizes to three outstanding student winners and praised the university and its partners for supporting young creatives.
Larry Ricky Antony and Whitney Aguko, Mr and Miss KCA University 2025/2026, during the Cultural Night /VICTOR IMBOTO Prof Renson Muchiri, Deputy Vice Chancellor Teaching and Learning represented the Vice Chancellor and CEO Isaiah Wakindiki.
Prof Vincent Onywera, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Outreach was also present.
The night also crowned Jack Muchiri and Roselyne Chebet as Mr and Miss KCA University 2026.
