Anil Kapoor Pens Heartfelt Birthday Note for Son-in-Law Karan Boolani: ‘You and Rhea Have Built Something Very Special’

Actor Anil Kapoor shared a warm birthday message for his son-in-law and filmmaker Karan Boolani, praising his creative journey and the special relationship he shares with daughter Rhea Kapoor.

Taking to Instagram, the Mr India actor said he had seen different facets of Karan over the years — from his work as a filmmaker and creative professional to the person he is away from the camera.

“Happy Birthday, @karanboolani! Over the years, I’ve had the chance to see many sides of you. The filmmaker, the creative mind, the person behind the camera, and simply Karan,” Anil wrote.

He highlighted Karan’s curiosity and thoughtful approach, saying these qualities had consistently stood out to him.

Anil also praised the bond between Karan and Rhea, writing, “You and Rhea have built something very special together, and it’s always lovely to see.”

Wishing Karan a year filled with “good stories, good people and lots of happy moments”, Anil added a personal touch by mentioning that he was on his way to Karan’s residence for a family lunch.

Along with the message, Anil shared two pictures with Karan. One showed the filmmaker posing candidly, while the other captured a warm moment between the two as Anil helped adjust Karan’s tie. The duo were seen twinning in black.

Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani got married on August 14, 2021.
