Airforce Plane Crash: Squadron Leader Married Flight Lt Damilola 2 Weeks Before The Plane Crash

According to VANGUARD News, Squadron Leader Ahamefule Man Ugwueje, one of the crew members of the Nigerian Air Force ATR 42 aircraft that crashed in Igbokoda, Ondo State, reportedly married Flight Lieutenant Damilola Adekunle just two weeks before the fatal incident.

Ugwueje and Adekunle, who both reportedly come from families with long military traditions, got married on September 19, barely over two weeks before the aircraft crash.

The Squadron Leader was among the crew members aboard the Nigerian Air Force aircraft when it crashed in Igbokoda, Ondo State, resulting in the loss of lives.

According to reports, the newlyweds were still on their honeymoon when Ugwueje died in active service, turning what should have been a period of celebration for the couple into a tragic moment.
