Three Pakistani crew members of MT Honor 25 safely recovered: Ishaq Dar
The remaining three Pakistani crew members of MT Honor 25 have been safely recovered, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said in a statement on X.
Dar identified the three crew members as Imran Ali, Muhammad Yasin and Syed Hussain Yousuf.
He said the three Pakistanis had been brought to Addis Ababa accompanied by a team from the Pakistani Embassy in Djibouti.
The deputy prime minister said the crew members would depart for Pakistan on the first available Ethiopian Airlines flight to Karachi.

Dar thanked the Government of Somalia and the European Union Naval Force’s Operation Atalanta team for their cooperation in securing the crew members’ release.
He said the Operation Atalanta team was present near MT Honor 25 and that both the Somali government and the EU naval force assisted in ensuring the crew’s release.
Dar said Pakistan remained committed to strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation to combat piracy and safeguard the security and freedom of international maritime routes.
