State House confirms Munganga’s dismissal

STATE House has confirmed the firing of Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Administration Charity Munganga. On Saturday, sources within the police command revealed the development amid speculation that more changes could be made within the Zambia Police Service. And in a statement, Sunday, State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka confirmed the development, stating that President Hakainde Hichilema had terminated Munganga’s appointment pursuant to Article 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.
