Police Rescue 14-Year-Old Girl Found Walking Alone at Midnight en Route to Boyfriend’s House
A police night patrol team has rescued a 14-year-old girl who was discovered walking alone along a roadside around midnight, reportedly on her way to visit her boyfriend.
According to the officers, they noticed the teenager carrying bags and other personal belongings while walking by herself at approximately 12:00 a.m. Concerned for her safety, they stopped her and asked where she was going. The girl allegedly told them she was heading to meet her boyfriend.
The officers took her to the police station and tried to reach her parents so they could come and pick her up. However, according to the officers, no family member came forward initially.
The patrol team then chose to drive the girl to her home, where they met her mother. The mother, who appeared worried, told the officers that this was not the first time her daughter had left home without permission. She expressed concern about what she described as the teenager’s stubborn behaviour, alleging that the girl had been collecting phone numbers from boys and meeting them without the family’s knowledge.
The incident highlights ongoing concerns about teenage safety and parental supervision, particularly during late-night hours. Authorities have not released further details about any follow-up action.
