Polarisation has a price
Eleven hours of negotiations, two rounds of talks and a draft agreement reportedly 90% complete should have offered a small sign of hope in a country exhausted by political confrontation. Instead, the talks collapsed over unresolved differences on terrorism, the role of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in supporting the federal authorities and security forces in fight against militancy, and dispute surrounding the planned long march.
