Night patrol officers rescue 14 years girl with bags on road at midnight while heading to boyfriend
According to report by Dailyviewgh on 5, October 2026, a police night patrol team has reportedly intervened to protect a 14 year old girl who was found walking alone along a roadside around midnight while allegedly heading to meet her boyfriend.
According to the officers involved, they spotted the teenager at about 12:00 am, carrying bags and other personal belongings as she walked along the road alone. Concerned about her safety and the circumstances surrounding her presence outside at such an hour, the officers stopped and questioned her about where she was going.
The girl reportedly told the officers that she was on her way to visit her boyfriend. Given her age and the late hour, the patrol team took her to the police station for her safety and began efforts to contact her parents or guardians.
The officers said they asked the girl’s family to come to the station to take her home. However, no family member reportedly arrived initially, prompting the patrol team to make arrangements to escort the teenager to her residence.
Upon reaching the house, the officers reportedly met the girl’s mother, who expressed concern over her daughter’s behaviour.
The mother allegedly told the officers that it was not the first time the teenager had left home without permission. She further claimed that her daughter had been obtaining phone numbers from boys and meeting them without the family’s knowledge.
The incident has raised concerns about the need for parents and guardians to maintain close communication with teenagers and pay attention to their movements, friendships and safety, particularly when they are spending time outside the home.
