Nash County deputies arrest Battleboro couple on meth chargesComment on this story0CommentShare storySharetopics: MethamphetamineNash CountyBattleboroDeputiesTraffic stopNarcotics investigationChelsea RoseJeremy HollandBATTLEBORO, N.C. — Two people previously charged in connection with methamphetamine sales were arrested again after a traffic stop and narcotics investigation in Nash County, according to the Nash County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office says members of its Community Action Team and Narcotics Division stopped a vehicle on September 30 that Jeremy Holland was known to be in.

Investigators say Holland had outstanding warrants connected to the alleged sale and distribution of methamphetamine from a home on Dogwood Avenue in Battleboro.

Deputies took Holland into custody during the stop. According to the sheriff’s office, a search of the vehicle found several bags of suspected methamphetamine and a digital scale hidden under a seat.

Investigators then went to the Dogwood Avenue home, where they found Holland’s girlfriend, Chelsea Rose. The sheriff’s office says Rose also had outstanding felony narcotics warrants and was taken into custody.

The sheriff’s office says Holland and Rose were released in June after facing similar accusations involving the sale and distribution of methamphetamine. Investigators say they later received multiple complaints about suspected narcotics activity at the home and conducted a controlled purchase of methamphetamine there.

Rose is charged with maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

Holland is being held at the Nash County Detention Center under a $60,000 secured bond. Rose is being held without bond.
