Thirteen-year-old Anabel Afriyie, who was reported missing on September 30, 2026, has safely returned home to her family in Akyem Krobo.

Anabel’s disappearance had reportedly left her relatives deeply worried after she failed to return home on the day she was expected to come back from school.

According to information shared by her family, Anabel had reportedly left home for school on September 30 but did not return afterward. The situation immediately triggered concern among her relatives, who began efforts to establish her whereabouts.

Her family reportedly contacted some of her friends and other people who might have information about her movements. However, her school friends were said to have told the family that Anabel had not reported to school on the day she was believed to have gone there.

The uncertainty surrounding her disappearance heightened the family’s anxiety, prompting them to publicly appeal for information that could help locate the teenager.

Thankfully, Anabel has now returned home safely, bringing relief to her relatives and others who had become concerned about her wellbeing.

In a video circulating following her return, Anabel’s mother could be heard expressing both relief and confusion as she asked her daughter: “Anabel, what wrong have we done you, why do that to us?”

The video has also generated questions because Anabel was reportedly not wearing her school uniform when she returned. This has led some members of the public to speculate about where she may have been during the period she was missing.

However, there is currently no confirmed information about where Anabel went or what happened to her while she was away. It is therefore important that conclusions are not drawn without verified facts.
