Mir Raza murder: Judicial commission to inspect crime scene
The judicial commission probing the murder of young entrepreneur Mir Raza has decided to visit the crime scene and other locations linked to the case.
Commission head Justice Umar Sial directed Sindh government focal person Javed Abro to make arrangements for the inspection. The commission will visit the location where Mir Raza’s body was found as well as a guest house connected to the case.
The commission has summoned Mir Raza’s family, their lawyer and Investigation Officer (IO) DSP Siraj Leghari to accompany it during the visit at 11:30am on Monday.
Justice Sial said the inspection would help strengthen the commission’s recommendations to the Sindh government.

The commission will also record the statements of Kashif Iftikhar and IO Siraj Leghari on Wednesday at 11am.
Meanwhile, Justice Sial appreciated the work of two investigative journalists who had collected information about suspected vehicles allegedly linked to the murder. He observed that police had made limited progress in investigating the vehicles.
The commission directed the journalists to give a presentation on the suspected vehicles on October 6 at 11am. They have been asked to explain how the vehicles’ movements correspond with the map of the area.
Registrar Abdul Majid was also directed to notify all relevant parties about the commission’s orders.
