Lutale Defence Withdraws Objection to Transcription Evidence in Besigye Trial

Trial judge Emmanuel Baguma told court that he would no longer deliver a ruling he had prepared on the admissibility of the evidence after Lutale’s lawyers, in a letter dated September 22, informed him that they were withdrawing their objection.The defence of Obeid Lutale has withdrawn its objection to prosecution transcription reports, clearing the way for further testimony on recordings central to the treason trial.
