LilWin Wanted To Use Me For 20 Days, But Wanted To Pay Me Peanuts – Van Vicker Reveals
According to a report by The BBC Ghana yesterday which was Sunday, October 4, 2026, Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has opened up about the circumstances that led to his decision to stop working with fellow actor Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin, revealing that disagreements over payment and the terms of a movie project played a major role.
According to Van Vicker, LilWin once approached him to feature in a movie production that was expected to take about 20 days to complete. However, he claimed that the amount offered for the lengthy commitment was not sufficient for him to accept the role.
Van Vicker further explained that there were also concerns surrounding how the financial arrangement would be handled. He alleged that LilWin did not want the payment arrangement to be reflected in his accounts, which contributed to his decision to decline the project and eventually stop working with him.
The actor’s comments have brought renewed attention to the relationship between the two personalities, particularly following previous public statements made by LilWin regarding Van Vicker.
LilWin has on several occasions expressed disappointment over Van Vicker’s failure to accept his invitation to collaborate on a movie. He has publicly discussed the issue and questioned why the actor did not honour the invitation.
LilWin has also previously spoken about his decision to work more frequently with Nigerian actors and actresses. He cited his experiences with some Ghanaian colleagues as one of the factors that influenced his preference.
Van Vicker’s latest explanation therefore provides another perspective on the disagreement and sheds light on the professional considerations that influenced his decision to stop collaborating with LilWin.
