Keen dater mocked after his love match canceled their meeting when she saw his sparkly outfit

A man who complained about his date cancelling over a ‘problematic’ bedazzling outfit has failed to garner much in the way of sympathy online.

The victim, known online as Wunderr, shared his frustrations on TikTok as he explained how his dinner date suddenly fell through when he did an outfit reveal.

He explained: This girl canceled our date 15 minutes before it was time for me to go pick her up. I’m usually a logical person, I understand things. But with this I’m like, what are you doing?’

Wunderr added: ‘She was doing her make-up and she was like, “Let me see what you’re wearing”. I showed her my outfit and she said, “Is that really what you’re wearing?”‘

He then stepped back from the camera so viewers of the video could see his look in full. It consisted of a black top that was covered in gold sparkly rhinestones and a pair of dark pants that were embellished with an array of silver gems.

His shoes were equally dazzling, and also contained sparkling stones.

Wunderr went on: ‘She was like, “I don’t think that’s the best option”. I’m like, “How are you going to tell me what’s the best option for me to wear?”

‘I’m a grown man, I dress myself. She was like, “Bedazzled clothes and rhinestones is a problem. I think it’s sassy for men to wear that”.

‘If you’re judging someone based off their outfit, then I don’t need to be with you. She said, “If that’s really what you’re wearing then I’m not going no more”, You canceled a date over an outfit? Girl, please be for real.’

However, Wunderr lost the battle in the comments section when he shared his chosen ‘fit.

One observer wrote: ‘Three types of sparkles? THREE?’ And another declared: ‘I would have canceled too.’

A third person joked: ‘She dodged a sparkly bullet,’ as one asked: ‘Sir, why are you sparkling like a disco ball?’

And things got worse, as one commenter explained: ‘I was on your side… until I saw the outfit. Now I’m on hers.’

Another confessed: ‘I wanted so bad to have your back,’ and one even declared: ‘A full glitter ‘fit is diabolical bro.’
