Karur Admin on War-Footing to Tackle Dengue

Karur: The Karur district administration has initiated all steps to tackle dengue fever. Mosquito eradication spraying has been intensified in areas where dengue and fever patients are detected, according to Collector C. Muthukumaran.

In a release, he said ward-wise follow-up actions are being taken and works are being monitored. Members of the public must ensure that water does not stagnate in and around their houses. Water tanks and containers must be kept tightly closed to thwart mosquitoes. It must also be ensured that water does not accumulate in unused tires, coconut shells, plastic items, flowerpots, etc.
